AirTouch balayage at Fabio's Hair & Color Studio is a consultation-led blonding service. Controlled airflow helps separate shorter and newer hairs before selected sections are lightened, allowing the colorist to design soft transitions and intentional dimension.
Fabio's Hair & Color Studio
AirTouch is not automatically the right method for every client. We compare it with balayage, traditional foils and combination techniques, then choose the approach that best fits your color history, condition, desired brightness and maintenance goals.
Our salon welcomes guests from Yorkville, Lenox Hill and nearby Manhattan neighborhoods. Every recommendation is personalized after seeing your hair in person.
What we customize
Color history, density, condition and the desired finish determine whether AirTouch is appropriate.
Airflow helps separate shorter hairs so the colorist can work with carefully selected sections.
Brightness, natural depth and face framing are balanced around your features and haircut.
A personalized toner refines warmth, depth and reflect after the lifting service.
Our approach
Review inspiration, previous color, condition, brightness and maintenance expectations.
Select AirTouch, foils, balayage or a combination and plan sectioning and protection.
Work through the planned sections while monitoring lift and hair condition.
Refine the final shade, support the hair and explain the home and salon maintenance plan.

AirTouch uses controlled airflow during sectioning to help separate shorter and newer hairs before selected sections are lightened. The colorist then customizes placement, lift and tone.
Not for everyone. AirTouch, painted balayage and foils create different kinds of control and dimension. We select the method—or combination—that fits your hair and goal.
It may be, but previous color, buildup, porosity and condition must be evaluated first. A staged plan may be safer for dark artificial color or compromised hair.
Timing varies with density, length, starting color, sectioning and the amount of change. Call before booking so we can reserve the correct service.
Use the recommended color-safe home care and return for toner, gloss, treatment and lightening visits on the personalized schedule your colorist provides.
